Recently, I was doing questionnaire to investigate the illustrations and patterns on homewares. I did two questionnaires, one is Chinese version, for Chinese people, the other is English version, for British people and people in the UK. There are just slightly changes between the two version, according to the habits of people in different background. For instance，in China, we don’t have very particular and famous homwears brand, so I put the question in Chinese version ‘Do you have particular homewares brands you prefer ’instead of ‘what is your favorite homewars brand?’. While, in English version, I list Cath Kidston, Missoni and Monsoon, the three brands to be chose by people.
In addition, I made some mood boards for better understanding Chinese folk art to help people make decision. However, when I tried to update the mood boards I made on the English website, I failed, again and again. So I have to choose the other pictures to update. I chose some typical images can express Chinese folk art as well. This is the other different between Chinese version and English version.
